Chief Commanda II

The Chief Commanda II is a 320-passenger, all-aluminum twin-hull vessel that cruises at a speed up to 13 knots or 25 km/h. The ship is equipped with two bars, handicap accessible washrooms, snack bar, and open-air BBQ. Locally referred to as ‘The Chief’ it features three decks. The main and second deck areas are enclosed with outside viewing areas. The top deck is open with seating and standing room, where passengers can enjoy a first-class view of the sun going down over Lake Nipissing creating the perfect opportunity for that instagrammable moment.

During the month of September, ‘The Chief’ run a North Shore cruise on Thursday Sept 26, and Sunday the 29th and a Fall Colours French River Cruise on Sept 22nd at 1 pm.

Outside of those, all of the normal cruising schedules will get close to shore to see the fall colours and the updated timings for after Labour Day weekend are:

Wednesday 530pm – Callander Bay
Thursday 1 pm – Manitou Islands
Friday 530pm – Callander Bay
Saturday 1 pm Manitou, 530 Callander
Sunday 1 pm Manitou
